Mia Sorella is family owned and operated by sisters, Debbie & Kristi.  We strive to offer you the freshest extra virgin olive oil by importing from both hemispheres depending on who has the most recent crush.

 

We have toured the family owned business in Modena, Italy where our balsamic vinegars are made.  Very impressive!

 

How did we decide on this adventure?   While visiting family in Italy several years ago, we were given the opportunity to do an olive oil tasting after the wine tasting was over.  Since we love olive oil and cooking, we were immediately interested and impressed with how different the olive oils tasted. Over the next few years we noticed that a couple of California wineries were planting olive trees and producing their own olive oils.  We had done a tasting at some of them and at a couple of other stores and thought it would be perfect for us as we had so many ideas and favorite things we wanted to share with our customers!

 

Our goal is to educate, not just sell our products.  We personally know most of the folks who provide us with their wonderful products.  If you would like to know more about them, please ask.  We love to talk about them!
